I've been looking for the same information. I know idvd has it for macs but I have yet to find a video editor (with 3d animation...pics or video) for XP. I currently use Roxio and it does not have this 3d capability.

NERO PHOTOSHOW DELUXE 5 CAN BE PURCHASED WITH A PACKAGE OF ANIMATED PROGRAMS, BUT I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE OPERATION OF THIS PROGRAM AND TECH SUPPORT IS PRETTY GOOD BUT BE PREPARED TO WORK WITH THEM EVERYDAY.

Thank you for your help. I looked at Nero last night and saw some of the 3d themes they offer. Does the package you have offer any 3d introduction videos? You'd be amazed how this can spice up a video...weddings...etc.

On most dvd making packages, there is the option to have a video intro. In this intro. you can put in a clip from your own video..etc. This video will play before you ever see the actual dvd menu. It's a good lead-in to draw in the person watching the dvd.

Another option I have seen (I believe with Mac's IDVD) is where the intro video is already created for you. In this example, it takes multiple pictures (or video clips from the actual dvd) and rotates them in a 3d action around the screen. This happens for about 5 seconds before your dvd menu appears.

It's hard to explain without seeing it, it is this feature (see last paragraph) which I am looking for. I'm not sure if Nero, Pinnacle, or Ulead have this capability.
