Good to see your thread on dv4t because it seems like most people here are just interested in the dv5 and dv7 series. I'm considering to get a dv4t. HP lowered the price by about $100 today.

Is this a good deal?

I'm pondering between dv4t and dv5t because of 512mb GeForce 9600 and I prefer 14" screen better...

I wanted a small laptop with a good screen + blu-ray and didn't want to fork out the cash for the Sony Z.

What's the difference between

14.1" diagonal WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)

Infinity glass is a designer screen with a clean frameless look

The Infinity display option makes it look like the display has a big piece of glass over it, and it goes all the way to the edges for a seamless look. I'd suggest going to an electronics store and see if they have a dv5 on display. My local Best Buy has a dv5z with the Infinity on display.
