Keyboard Layouts and the Razer Naga

For a couple hours now, I've been messing with my keyboard layout for gaming. I switched it to ESDF for the first time, and I really like it. However, I'm still having trouble hitting keys while still moving. My fingers can reach far enough (from WASD or ESDF to 0-9), but its slower than I'd like to be (and many times slower than having buttons on the side of your mouse).

I've also been watching Swifty's videos on the Naga (yes I know he's sponsored by Razer) and it seems like an extremely good way to improve my gameplay. I'm already pretty proficient with the keyboard/shortcuts, but it seems like I would be much faster/efficient with multiple buttons on the side of my mouse.

Anyone have the Naga? If so, what's it like? Was it worth it? Are there any mice with a similar layout to the Naga (multiple buttons on the side), but a bit cheaper?

Also, do you have any particularly genius keyboard layouts that you wouldn't mind sharing?

I use this keyboard, I love the layout. Everything I need is within reach and its intuitive after awhile.

I've had it for 3 years or so and I love it. It has usb ports for my mouse/flashdrive and I have my headphones plugged into it. The lights make it great for late night use. Also the keys on the side are coated with some kind of rubber and feel great, but the numpad sucks and its just average for typing. I don't care for layout of regular keyboards in fps shooters and I don't use macros so I just customize the controls in each game I play and it works great.

I still think the buttons on the mouse would be extremely convenient for MMO-gaming. I guess I'll have to save up for a gamepad for my left hand and a Naga for my right.

Also, mother guacamole cow, look at this. O_O

Pfft, keyboards are small time.

Trolling aside, I always used WASD. Never really had any issues with it, so I guess I never saw any reason to bother with a different layout.

I've also been looking at the Nostromo, though I'd probably get the Naga first. If I had the Naga, I don't think I'd need the Nostromo because the reaching for number keys problem would be solved.

Though it looks nice for ergonomic and aesthetic reasons... Oh how I wish I had money.
