for the full, tested version. It should be offered through Windows Updates then.

As to the problem, without knowing more about your system all I could suggest is, try again.

Please read before posting

If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem

I have a laptop with Windows 7 64 bit that I use very little so I downloaded IE9 just to see if it is indeed any better.
It seems to be faster than Firefox and I like the layout better. Overall seems better than any other IE, but there are bugs in it.
In my case, you can't watch any kind of video. It has 2 to 3 second gaps in the video that flashes white. It doesn't do that with Firefox on the same computer.
It has a "send feedback" feature under tools, which I did and the video is a known problem.
I will keep using the Firefox until they get the problems fixed with the final IE9 then try it again.

I waited about a month and downloaded IE9 RC again today and it appears Microsoft has been listening to the complaints as it is working fine now.
It's faster than Firefox. Can't say about the security part, will have to wait on that.
I really like the layout and it looks like Microsoft got it right this time.
The thing I noticed is they added a entry in the Internet Properties advanced tab, that being "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" and that is checked.
Other than that, I didn't see any visible changes.
Whatever they did it's working great and I will start using only IE9 on my Laptop to see if anything else pops up.
